    How to use it

    1. Pick the preset that matches where the image goes.
    2. Drop your image and check the preview.
    3. Download and upload it.

Getting the X header size right

The X header is a wide 3:1 strip. Uploading a normal photo means choosing a thin slice of it in the app, which is fiddly on a phone.

Your profile picture overlaps the lower left of the header, so keep important details away from that corner.

    Questions

Is my photo uploaded to a server?

No. The resizing runs inside your browser with JavaScript, so the image stays on your device. Nothing is uploaded unless you choose to share it with "Share by link" in the Download step. Once the page has loaded, resizing keeps working even if you go offline. If your device can't handle an image, the tool can shrink it on our server instead, but only if you agree, and it is deleted right away.
