    How to use it

    1. Choose "Crop to fill" or "Fit without cropping".
    2. Drop your image. The preview shows exactly what you will get.
    3. Download your 64 × 64 file.

    Where 64 × 64 is used

It is used for small icons, favicons on high-density screens and game textures.

"Crop to fill" scales the image until it covers the whole 64 × 64 frame and trims the edges evenly. "Fit without cropping" keeps the entire picture and fills the empty space, so nothing important is lost.

    Questions

Which part of the photo is kept when cropping?

The centre. The image is scaled to cover the frame and the extra is trimmed equally from both sides (or top and bottom). If your subject is off-centre, "Fit without cropping" keeps everything.

Is my photo uploaded to a server?

No. The resizing runs inside your browser with JavaScript, so the image stays on your device. Nothing is uploaded unless you choose to share it with "Share by link" in the Download step. Once the page has loaded, resizing keeps working even if you go offline. If your device can't handle an image, the tool can shrink it on our server instead, but only if you agree, and it is deleted right away.
