    About 6 × 2 cm

It is the signature size listed for SSC and several other Indian application forms. At 200 DPI it is 472 × 157 pixels.

The tool converts centimetres to pixels using the DPI you choose, then writes that DPI into the file. Print software reads it and prints at the right physical size.

    Questions

Should I use this for my signature?

Yes, and the signature resizer can also clean the paper background and set a KB range.

    What DPI should I use?

300 DPI is the usual standard for photo prints and gives sharp results. Some online forms ask for 200 DPI; change it under Settings and the pixel size updates to match.

Is my photo uploaded to a server?

No. The resizing runs inside your browser with JavaScript, so the image stays on your device. Nothing is uploaded unless you choose to share it with "Share by link" in the Download step. Once the page has loaded, resizing keeps working even if you go offline. If your device can't handle an image, the tool can shrink it on our server instead, but only if you agree, and it is deleted right away.
